Paint Polishing Services in Long Island

A great service to cut and finish your paint with clarity and gloss

Removing Swirls and Scratches To Create Gloss For Your Paint

Have you seen your vehicle under the sun and seen swirls and scratches? Those are micro-scratches and imperfections that don’t make your paint shine.

How does that happen? This happens because of improper washing and drying methods, which causes scratches and swirls over time. With automatic car washes, using stiff brushes leads to swirls and causing imperfections.

This removes about 40 to 60% of the imperfections to reveal the shine and clarity of the paint.

This service is more for vehicles that need some TLC on the paint and cleaning imperfections.

This is a more intensive exterior cleaning. This requires more time and energy to achieve results. Since we are mobile, this will need some requirements to do it at your location.

The Hex Paint Polishing Process

Vehicle gets a thick layer of foam and a gentle hand wash (while we clean the jambs, gas cap, and remove bugs from paint)

3 Chemically Remove Iron Particles

4 Clay Bar Treatment

Paint Polishing FAQs

Do you offer ceramic coatings?
We sure do! This is a fantastic option to protect your paint from the weather. You can read more about our ceramic coatings here. You can also stay with the more traditional wax or sealant at no additional price.

How long do the results last?
After the paint is polished, the next phase is maintenance. It’s just like training your pet to sit on command. You don’t just teach them once and think they’ll know it forever.

You have to continually train and repeat the commands. It’s the same with paint polishing. You have to properly (and routinely) wash and dry your vehicle moving forward to maintain the swirl-free finish of your paint. If not, you’re back to square one.

What’s the difference between a wax and paint polishing?
A wax does not remove any swirls or scratches from your paint. It only hides very light swirls and can be completed in a few hours. The paint polishing helps remove about 40 to 60% of the imperfections in your paint and gives you more of a gloss.
